The average rating of Food Stores near Clarence St and Kennedy Rd S is 3.6 out of 5.
yes I agree about the unfriendly staff, as I used to work there for 2 days. The staffs would urinate on the trash deposal bins. They also don't wash their hands, espeically the people that works in the fish department.
However, the prices are resonably cheap.
I'm just glad that Seasons overtook them. It's just slightly better.
We caught BED BUGS from that dirty, shady mall. Those Smelly chairs are the worst thing imaginable! They should really replace them or at least clean it C
well itz a gd thing that there renovating the store and i thik itz new owners and a food court i think itz a gd up grade for the mall itself with a food court and all plus for all those parents there is the best children store rite opposite where the new supermarket is called precious stages u need to check it out the best kids clothes and the best prices and all qualilty clothing with the top name brands»
The store has good prices don't get me wrong. The staff are rude and can't speak english. The store stinks all the time. I'm glad there's a new store going there, just wondering if the same ppl own it. The best store to shop at is Oceans food mart you get all the same foods and maybe more.»
THE PRICES ARE CHEAP AND MANY VARIETY OF ITEMS, BUT I RECOMOND THE STORE SHOULD BE MORE CLEAN AND SAFE HANDLING OF THE FOOD ITEMS.»
do not go to AAA supemarket! it is the most durtiest store i've seen in my life! they have pre-packed foods for days and dont replace them. there store also smells very bad. the cashier also do not know how to speak english and not friendly and are really rude. so i advice people not to go to AAA supermarket»
So stink and low quality products. Not many varieties to choose. They carry only few brands of each category. I 'd rather go Superstore at Steeles-Hwy 10 as it owns T&T Chinese supermarket chain and carries more oriental foods, you can even use credit cards there.Absolutely better at Superstore for choices, price, and cleanliness and service than AAA supermarket.»
very good and cheep
Go to Ocean Food Market is better. There are Chinese food packed and ready to eat. Clean and stylish Oriental supermarket.»
Be careful, I was told from someone who used be there and saw.
The food such as meat and chicken are repacked eventhough they are already expired or short date. !!
Also some fresh meat fell down from the chopped table and the employee picked it up and packed it like nothing ever happened. !!
It seems cleaner but it is just what we see outside, we need real sanitization.
Staff are unbelievable unfriendly and hardly speak English.
Stink from time to time.
Washroom is quite dirty.
Its the best store i have ever seen in my life.»
ECO THE SAME COMMENTS AS OTHER READERS ABOUT SANITATION AND COURTESY. HOWEVER, EVEN THOUGH THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE, IT ISN'T SELFSERVING TO BE PACKAGING ROTTEN FRUITS TO BE PURCHASED.A MAJORITY OF AFRICAN CANADIAN SUPPORT YOUR STORE, AND ARE QUITE DISGUSTED WITH SECOND HAND FOOD. FOOD MUST BE GOOD FOR CONSUMPTION, SANITARY AND ATTRACTIVE TO BE SOLD. WE'LL RATHER PAY A FEW CENTS MORE FOR BETTER QUALITY FOOD.
CUSTOMER SERVICE RELATIONS HAS IMPROVED, BUT COULD BE BETTER.
ITS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP. THE PRICES ARE ATTRACTIVE AND OVER ALL THE PLACE IS CLEAN. I HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS PLACE FROM THE TIME I CAME TO CANADA ( FOUR YEARS AGO ) AND HAVE TOLD MAY FRIENDS TO SHOP THERE.
THE ONLY THING WHICH NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED IS THE UNFRIENDLY STAFF. THEY DONT HAVE A CLUE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HOW IMPORTANT IT IS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY.
TRY AND IMPROVE.
All I wanted to do was find some SHRIMP CRACKERS, like the ones you can fry yourself (you see them at restaurants sometimes), and nobody in the store there had a clue what I was talking about so I walked out a little upset..
I also agree, the store stinks, but really it's a good place to go to get some exotic foods that you don't usually see (I'm a white person and usually shop at an IGA or something)
3/5 I'd say
It offers a variety of products from "home" that wouldn't be available at any of our local grocery store. However, they should keep the store odour-free, and practice proper food handling, especially in the meat section. I've been to one chinese supermarket that is amazingly clean, organized and stink-free.»
